Reconstitution Tips

Use bacteriostatic water, not regular saline. Add water down the side of the vial — never directly onto powder. Swirl gently to dissolve; never shake. Once mixed, refrigerate and use within ~30 days.

04 / QUESTIONS

Things people ask

What's bacteriostatic water and where do I get it?+
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added to prevent bacterial growth. It's what allows reconstituted peptides to last ~30 days refrigerated. It's available through research suppliers, including Peptide Plugs.
Why U-100 syringes?+
U-100 insulin syringes are calibrated so that 100 units = 1 mL. This makes drawing tiny peptide doses far more precise than a 1 mL syringe with broader graduations. Standard for nearly all peptide work.
Does it matter how much BAC water I use?+
Yes — your concentration changes with the volume. More water = more dilute = more units to draw for the same dose. Consistency matters: pick a volume, stick with it across vials, and your unit numbers stay predictable.
What if I get the math wrong?+
That's exactly why this calculator exists. Plug your numbers in, double-check against the conversion tables below, and never trust mental math when working with mcg-level dosing.
Is this medical advice?+
No. This site is educational and provides reference information for research purposes. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare provider. See full disclaimer below.
